  • UNC Basketball commit Day’Ron Sharpe is among the standouts at the USA Basketball Camp that is taking place over the weekend
On Friday, we wrote about North Carolina commit Caleb Love and his standout performance on the first day of the USA Basketball camp. But now it’s another North Carolina commit that is leaving an impression in Colorado Springs https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/seventh-woods-jersey-c-11.html, Colorado.

As the camp continues through the weekend, five star center Day’Ron Sharpe is impressing scouts and media members that are in attendance.

Sharpe was one of the standouts from Saturday’s session for the 2020 recruiting class as multiple reporters listed him as their standout. The 6 foot 10 https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/michael-jordan-jersey-c-12.html, 246 pound center is participating in the camp which is filled with some of the top recruits from the 2020 2023 classes.

Here is just some of what the media is saying about Sharpe
The last one from UNC  https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/kenny-williams-jersey-c-13.html  reporter Clint Jackson is telling. Sharpe was already known as a good rebounder but it seems like he has improved. With UNC putting an emphasis on rebounding and finishing towards the top among leaders in all of the NCAA, adding a recruit that is a dominant rebounder is huge.

Pairing Sharpe with fellow five star center Walker Kessler and the Tar Heels now have two dominant big men in the post. Sharpe is currently ranked as the No. 17 player in the 2020 class and the No. 4 center but if he continues to impress like this Brice Johnson Jersey, he could shoot up the rankings.
