Cleaning Method Of Escalator Drive Chain

  •

    The escalator is an open transportation machine that is driven by electricity and can carry a large number of passengers continuously in a certain direction. It has the characteristics of compact structure, safety and reliability, simple and convenient installation and maintenance. Therefore, it is widely used in places with large and concentrated passenger flows, such as stations, terminals, shopping malls, and so on. Pedestrians who walk on one end of the escalator will automatically be taken to the other end of the escalator. The steps will be kept horizontal all the way. There are handrails that move synchronously with the steps on both sides of the step for users to hold. The escalator can always walk in one direction, but most of them can control the walking direction according to the needs of time and flow of people. Asynchronous handrails and steps will seriously affect the normal, safe and reliable operation of the escalator, and there are certain hidden dangers.

    The hzqjchain Drive Chain manufacturer will tell you about the maintenance steps of the handrail Drive Chain.

    1) Open the lower pedal of the escalator, insert the maintenance box, and remove the protective cover;

    2) Remove 3-4 consecutive steps, move the unloading step part directly above the handrail drive chain, and cut off the power;

    3) Dip the oil accumulated in the oil pan with a cloth (note: do not drip oil on the steps on the return side).

    4) Restore the power supply, install and remove the three rungs, and adjust the size of the rungs and comb teeth.

    5) Remove the maintenance box, put on the protective cover, and reset the pedal.

    Safe operating practices during maintenance of handrail drive chains

    1) Safety fence must be set up before maintenance;

    2) When the maintenance step is removed from the escalator / sidewalk, only the “maintenance box” is allowed to operate the escalator / sidewalk at the maintenance speed, and no one is allowed to stand on the step;

    3) The hand lamp for maintenance must have a safety light with a cover;

    4) When repairing the escalator, press the emergency stop button in time when not in operation, and cut off the power when necessary;

    5) After the maintenance is completed, you must check that no debris and tools are left in the escalator / sidewalk;
