A Black Tie Wedding In A Tuscan Fortress

  • Operations director Samantha and TFL contractor Ian were wed on 1st September 2018 inside a ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, then a reception in San Ruffino.

"As soon as I saw the gown it just felt like 'me'. I went by myself close to 8 boutiques and tried on a variety of styles (around 50 dresses altogether!) and I liked plenty of them. I never got the sensation that I had found ‘the one though, so I continued searching."

"When I tried the very best skirt combination, I knew the search was over as I felt so comfortable and unpretentious inside it. I wasn't even going to check it out as I'd decided against a two-piece, but I'm so glad they suggested I check it out within the boutique."

"My favorite moment from the whole day was turning the corner whilst holding my daughter's hand and walking towards Ian. I didn't even spot the guests, I just had my eyes fixed on him. I felt so grateful to possess both Paige and Ian for the reason at that moment. I would recommend a marriage abroad – because it spanned a couple of days, I was able to spend considerable time with everyone."

"Ian and I met through act as we worked within the same department. When we both became single we started chatting after dating. We were together almost five years when Ian proposed in Lake Como, and we were engaged for around 1.5 years before the marriage." Go

"We chose our very good friends, Ross, and Ian's sister Victoria to complete the readings. We asked these phones to choose the things they wanted to read and never to tell us beforehand once we wanted a surprise. They were very emotional once we'd never heard them before, plus they meant something to us as they'd chosen them for all of us themselves."

"My bridesmaid gowns were pink bridesmaid dresses. They are accessorized with various pink suede shoes. Ian wore a two-piece black suit, paired having a white Hugo Boss shirt and shoes."

Following the ceremony, the pair hopped back into the vintage Morgan for her couples portraits with photographer Andrea.

"Guests were treated to some drinks reception where best man and childhood friend of Ian, Rob, played their version of Elton John's Your Song around the guitar, both an interesting and emotional moment for the pair."

"For our evening entertainment we hired a saxophonist for cocktail hour, then our DJ who had all of us dancing until 4 am within the morning!"

"We didn't possess a traditional wedding cake once we didn't begin to see the point. Being abroad, no one would have been in a position to take it home so instead, we chose to possess a traditional Italian pastry and cream cake produced by our caterers."

    Words Of Wedded Wisdom

"We planned everything together and located the whole process exhilarating. I think this was because we did everything exactly once we wanted to complete it, so there is nothing to take into account. We took care of everything so no one attempted to make us spend money in a certain way either. We loved the few precious moments we'd to ourselves on your day after the ceremony within the car, so be sure you make time to just relax and watch what's happening."
